Saint Anne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
A family owned skilled nursing facility

Leadership Staff

Marita Smith, Administrator
maritasmith@comcast.net
I have been in long term care for over 30 years, beginning as a nursing assistant and working in every department before becoming an administrator.  I love working with people and I am honored to be able to provide care to our residents and to help them get to their highest quality of life, usually after they have experienced a traumatic event that brought them to us. Saint Anne provides outstanding nursing and rehabilitation care. We also provide good food and fun to make the healing process much more enjoyable then it otherwise would be.

Sue Millan, Director of Nursing Services
dns.sa@frontier.com
As the Director of Nursing
at Saint Anne, I feel like it is my second home. I have been here for over nine years and enjoy the home like environment and the close personal relationships I am able to develop with the residents. I prefer the long term care/ rehabilitation setting because I am able to learn the life stories of the residents and share their thoughts and feelings on a one to one level. I enjoy watching a rehabilitation resident progress and get stronger to the point that they are able to go back home and resume their lives better and stronger. On my days off I love to enjoy nature, hike and take pictures of all my adventures.

Jean Rooen, Business Office Manager
bom_saintanne@comcast.net
I enjoy working in long term care because of the wonderful and interesting residents and families that I get the opportunity to know. Being able to interact with the residents is a very fun part of my job, whether through activities or individual visiting. I love to go on long walks on my days off, preferably by the water!

Lori Hill, Social Services/Admissions Coordinator
lhill_socserv@comcast.net
I began working in long term care 14 years ago and I have worked at Saint Anne’s for the past 9 years. Working in this field  is such a rewarding experience and continues to help me grow as a person. I enjoy helping others and assisting them during difficult times in their lives. If I am having a bad day I know all I have to do is walk down the hall and I have a smile, a joke, a hug or a life story waiting for me from one of our residents to brighten my day! In my free time you will find me with family and friends sharing our love for sports! Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been. ~ Mark Twain.

Mary Holcomb, Dietary Manager
dietman.sa@frontier.com
I have been a Dietary Director since 1987 in nursing homes & assisted living facilities. On my off time I like to spend time with my four sons and their families. My hobbies are traveling and cooking. I owned my own restaurant before I got into long term care.

Ryan Megaard, Environmental Services
paulsenmegaard@comcast.net
As head of environmental services, it is my duty and privilege to ensure a clean, safe and healthy environment for our residents, staff and visitors.  Extending beyond my full time position at Saint Anne, I have a passion for cooking and love bringing that passion to work through BBQ's, wine tastings and the Bite of Saint Anne.

Haimi Bekele, Health Information Manager
records_r_us@comcast.net
I really enjoy working in long term care with the elderly and have learned a lot from them. Our residents have very interesting stories to tell and I love listening to them. I have gained a lot of respect for them. On my off time I love to walk and spend time with friends and family.

Kailash Patel, Payroll/HR Specialist
payroll_saintanne@comcast.net
I oversee payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and human resources. I have been at Saint Anne for six years and enjoy getting to know the residents. I have become very close to the residents and care about them very much. I enjoy yoga, walking and shopping.

Elliott Paloy, Activities Director
activitydir.saintanne@frontier.com
As the Activity Director at Saint Anne, I am responsible for all of the activity programs.  These programs consist of group activities, one-on-one individual visits, religious/spiritual nourishment, outings, socials, entertainment. I get to know all of the residents personally and they become my friends. I look forward to seeing them even on my days off. Other things I enjoy are spending time with my family and my schnauzer. I also love to visit casinos; the food is good and reasonable!

Minchi Pillay, Laundry Supervisor
I have worked at Saint Anne's for over 13 years and feel like it is my home.  I love working with the residents.  When we have special dinners for staff and residents, I will cook food from my native country, the Fiji Islands, which everyone enjoys.  I also enjoy dressing up in my native costume for the residents for these special occasions.
