Marita Smith, Administrator
I have been an RN for over 30 years and have worked in numerous fields such as medical/surgical nursing, traumatic brain injury, drug and alcohol dependency and the psychiatric field. I have been in the skilled nursing industry for a number of those years and have achieved several deficiency-free surveys. I was previously a member of the vocational technical college in Kirkland as well as an active present board member of the Washington State Chapter for Huntington’s Disease. I love to read and enjoy hiking and taking long walks with my dogs.
Gabriela Ordona, Social Services Director
I started working in long-term care after my MSW program from Walla Walla University. I’ve worked in a skilled nursing facility, home health and hospice before coming to Saint Anne Nursing and Rehab center. I am thankful to have the opportunity to work with colleagues that share the same passion for skilled nursing and long-term care. I love being a resource, guide, and support for all the residents. I’m excited to grow as a social worker. On my free time, I enjoy being with friends, family, and my adorable black lab mix.
Jean Rooen, Business Office Manager
I’ have been in long-term care for over 4 years where I started in Georgia then moved here to Washington. Before that I worked in or around the restaurant business for over 30 years. My wife and I owned our own restaurant in the mountains of Northeast Georgia that specialized in “all you could eat southern buffet”. We also served German dishes and had our own bakery. We made everything fresh and from scratch.
Haymi Bekele, Health Information Manager
I oversee payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and human resources. I have been at Saint Anne for 11 years and enjoy getting to know the residents. I have become very close to the residents and care about them very much. I enjoy yoga, walking and shopping.
I enjoy working at Saint Anne for so many reasons. I love seeing the quick progress our rehab guests achieve and to see their excitement when they are well enough to return home. Our long-term residents call Saint Anne their home and they really take pleasure in the many activities, their relationships with the staff and other residents, as well as eating great food! As Activity Director I have the benefit of providing great stimulation and fun for our residents. When I’m not at Saint Anne, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing on the Oregon Coast, camping and reading.
